Art School Unlimited

Our Mission

Art School Unlimited is dedicated to providing high-level, one-to-one online support for committed art students. The approach is grounded in studio practice, prioritising the development of technical skills alongside independent critical thinking. Students are supported in developing their own visual language, moving beyond formulaic templates to produce work with clarity, depth, and intention.

Time, space, and encouragement sit at the centre of this approach. Contemporary creative practice is no longer bound to a single location; with the effective use of technology, any environment can become a site of focused making and critical engagement. Through sustained support and mentorship, students are able to develop their ideas and interests into meaningful work, building the foundation for further study and long-term creative paths.

Instructor Bio

Art School Unlimited is led by a practising contemporary artist and former Art & Design lecturer, with extensive experience teaching across GCSE, A-Level, Foundation, and BA Fine Art.

All one-to-one sessions are led by the instructor and supported by a small team with backgrounds in Fine Art, History of Art, and safeguarding at a management level.

The teaching approach is grounded in rigorous studio practice, with a strong emphasis on critical thinking and the development of an independent visual voice. Students are supported in moving beyond formulaic responses, producing work that is considered, personal, and resolved.

Alongside teaching, the studio is underpinned by an active international art practice, with work exhibited regularly in a range of contexts. This ongoing engagement informs a current and relevant approach to both making and teaching.

The instructor studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins (UAL), completed an MFA at Goldsmiths, University of London, and holds a Master’s-level (Level 7) PGCE in Art & Design Education from UCL Institute of Education.

Alongside an ongoing art practice, experience in education spans a range of contexts, including state and independent schools, university teaching, and gallery-based education.

As a neurodivergent practitioner with dyslexia, there is a strong awareness of different ways of learning and thinking. Art and design education has been a transformative force, shaping both practice and teaching, and continues to inform a commitment to supporting students in developing confidence, independence, and direction in their work.
